Day 5- Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan-11/2/22
The Osaka aquarium is located in the Tempozan Harbor village of Osaka's bay
area and is one of Japan's most spectacular aquariums. The aquarium
was named "Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan" by the general public and opened in 1990
and was the largest public aquarium in the world. The largest Aquarium
in the world is the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. Osaka Aquarium are focusing
on research on sharks and Rays. By 2016, Kaiyukan had successfully captivate
and breeding 47 species of sharks, 37 species of rays, and 1 species
of ghost shark, for a total of 85 species. In addition, the past eight
surveys of tagging whale sharks have revealed that they can migrate to the
Philippines and dive to a depth of 4,900 ft.
On our way to the aquarium there is a Tempzan Ferris wheel and Lego Land just from walking distance to the aquarium.

The first thing you see when you enter the Aquarium is the Aqua gate.
The Aqua gate is a tunnel tank with various tropical fish.

After exiting the escalator is the Japan Forest, which recreates a Japanese forest and holds Asian small-clawed otters, Japanese giant salamanders and many other native freshwater animals.

The King penguin is the 2nd largest species of penguin, smaller, but somewhat similar in appearance to the emperor penguin.
King Penguin are found in Antarctica.
