Our Hotel is located on Midosuji avenue which is the primary main street in the center of Osaka.  It runs north-south passing Umeda, Dotonbori, Namba, etc. and it is really convenient location.

Tonight is the first night that all the Christmas lights are turned on Midosuju Avenue.

A series of colorful lights illuminate the Avenue.

This section is green and purple lights.

Definitely starting to feel like Christmas.

This area all the lights are white and Pink

It is so nice, I really enjoyed walking underneath all the lights.

Prada and Louis Vuitton store.

Damaru is one of the biggest department stores in Osaka.

Apple store.

Burberry store.

This area all the lights are blue and green

There are benches along the way for people to sit down and enjoy the lights.

The store is glowing in the dark.

All the lights are remarkable.

We saw so many people gather around and a huge podium in the middle of the street and we were wondering what is going on..

So many people gathering around

Security guards everywhere.

Then we saw a bunch of baseball athletes and people surrounded them.

It turned out to be the Orix Buffaloes champion parade they won the Japan equivalent to our World Series.

Parade car with the Orix Buffaloes waving at the crowd.

We are now headed to Kita neighborhood.
