Day 4- Cinque Terre-5/22/2022

Dinner at Dau Cila

Day Cila is located a few steps from our apartment and we were told that this is one of the best sea food restaurant in Riomaggiore with lots of choices for local wines.

The restaurant is perched above the Marina and has a large outdoor veranda and has amazing view of the Marina.

Our reservation was at 9:00pm and the staff is cleaning up and setting up tables for the 9:00pm service of the night.

Table set up.

The menu

The kitchen offers mainly fish based dished inspired by Ligurian cuisine with a twist.

We got a nice table on the veranda with a great view.

Check out the view of the Marina from our table.

The location of the restaurant and the breathtaking view create a charming and cozy atmosphere.

Hoa ordered a bottle of white wine from Cinque terre.  Got to drink local wine when travelling.

Cheers!

Le tapas del Cila with 5 different sea appetizers

Red snapper lightly cooked in olive oil

Fresh raw scampi, so sweet and so delicious.

Ha ordered the seafood spaghetti

The pasta is cooked to perfection and the seafood is so fresh that you can almost smell the sea.

I selected a homemade Borage fettuccine with fish ragu, tomatoes, basil and borttarga (dried cured fish row).

Simply delicious.

A great meal with a great glass of wine.

Tiramisu

Ending our meal with a fantastic tiramisu.

View of the Marina from the veranda of the restaurant.

The water is so clear that you can see the bottom.

What a great meal, great ambiance, very good service and a killer view to boot.  We will definitely come back one more time before leaving Cinque Terre.
