Lunch/Quick tour

We are on Colombo street, which is the main street in Riomaggiore

We were looking for something quick and found this restaurant on the main street.

They specialized in fried fish.  You order at the counter and they just fried right there.

We got a mix fish fried for the two of us and a beer for Hoa.

We basically got a little of everything: shrimps, calamari, small fish, etc...

We jus sat outside on a bench to enjoy our food.

Now that lunch is over we are taking a quick glance at the town.

There are a lot of restaurants, souvenir shops, and coffee shops lining the street.

The town is up hill so we are just going up.

The church of San Giovanni Battista.  We will get in and see the interior after our walk.

We are getting higher at rooftop level and we can see the see at this level.

The walk way to upper ground.

The houses are so colorful.

View of the coast line from above.

So peaceful here, no wonder it is a popular destination.

Castello (castle) Riomaggiore used to be a fortress and stands in the upper part of the village.

Courtyard of Castello Di Riomaggiore

View of the sea from the courtyard of the castle.

Stone paved walk way leading further up.

View of the train station from the upper part of the village.

Unbelievable view from above.
