Day 4- Cinque Terra-5/22/2022
Today we are going to Riomaggiore in Cinque terre. There are five charming fishing villages on the Ligurian cost and Riomaggiore is the first village.
Riomaggiore is the most southern village in Cinque Terre.
Train station in Florence Santa Maria Novella. There is no direct train to Riomaggiore so we will need to stop at La Spezia station and then take a connection train to Riomaggiore
The whole trip by train is about 3 hours.

Getting off the train and the view of the coast is fantastic.
To get to town from the train station you have to go through a pedestrian tunnel. The village is about 5 minutes walk from the train station.

We are headed to our Air B&B whichh is located at the edge of the town.
Dau Cila is one of the best restaurant in town and located about a minute from our apartment.

Once we put our stuff away, we are headed to the beach which is located at the eastern end of the village.

The town climbs up along the ridges overlooking the sea and it is characterized from the typical stone houses with colored facade and slate roofs.

We have reached the Canneto beach. On the right is a lady meditating facing the sea.
